Welcome to SkyEarth!

Updated: Jul 25, 2022

We have heard your cries for content! Or at least one or two of you last year suggested we start a blog. We got right on top of that and about ten months later are delivering your first blog post! Ha!

We opened registration for the 2022 SkyEarth Gathering around the beginning of June with our Super Early Bird registration of $150/adult. We are now in normal Early Bird status which is still a great savings at $175/adult. We have special prices for children by age bracket as well as Day Pass options for folks who can't be there the entire time. Check out all the ticket options as well as the Event Details and Schedule at the link above. Our schedule is still being developed as our Instructors send in their information.

Speaking of the Schedule, we have some fascinating classes in many subject areas of food preservation, health and wellness, bush craft and survival skills, and homesteading. At the moment, our food-related classes seem to be dominating which tells you a little about what's on everyone's minds these days - predicted food shortages and making sure your families have what they need.

Most recently we have decided to start interviewing our Instructors and posting those to our social media channels and our blog. To kick off this series, I sat down with Doug Householder to discuss his Gathering journey. Out of all the many talents Doug has, this year he will be teaching us how to craft knife sheaths and pouches from leather.

(Sometimes our Facebook video embedded code does not connect so if you cannot see the video below, head over to our Facebook page to watch.)

We hope to see each of you in October!

All the best,

Camp Mom (Lacey)
